All members, non-members and guests are cordially invited to join a visit to Guangdong New China Shipyard - Vessel “Jin Zhu Hu” located in Guangzhou Nansha District.  Details as set out below:

Date                :   26th May 2018 (Saturday)

Rendezvous    :   8:00 am at the front gate of Sheung Wan Western Market

                            (the door at Connaught Road Central)

Itinerary          :   11:00 am – 12:00 am  ---  visit Vessel “Jin Zhu Hu”

                            12:15 noon – 2:00 pm  ---  lunch    

                            2:00 pm afterward  ---  sightseeing

Return             :   4:00pm

Charge            :   For members HKD 500/person, for non-members HKD 750/person

                            (including traveling expenses, lunch)

The V. “Jin Zhu Hu”, a high-speed carbon fiber passenger ship is made in Norway and belongs to the nation’s first high-speed carbon fiber composite passenger ship, with a total of 270 seats in the cabin. It crossed the ocean and returned with glory, attracting the attention of the society and carrying great expectations. The carbon fiber high-speed passenger ship is one of the important results achieved in implementing the national “One Belt and One Road” strategy and implementation of “going global and introducing”. It is through technological innovation, making great efforts to transform and upgrade, and seizing the highland of the high-speed passenger transport and shipbuilding market and giving play to it. The leading role of the industry, consolidating the leading position of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao waterway passengers presented a masterpiece.
